Fund five hours of preschool - Hume City Council Advocacy

Dear Mayor,

Research shows that participating in early childhood education programs increases positive educational and life outcomes. 15 hours per week of preschool can make a huge difference to children in our community.

As a member of the Hume City community I am concerned that the Federal Government will not fund their allocation of preschool hours beyond 2018. I call upon Council to advocate to the Federal Government to ensure they continue this funding after 2018.
