Club Contribution Policy for Capital Works Projects

Council, at it's meeting on 26 November 2018, endorsed the Draft Club Contributions Policy for Capital Works Projects 2018 for review.

Council provides use of its sporting grounds and facilities to sports clubs/associations to improve physical and social well-being outcomes for the residents of Hume. Hume Council has developed a number of standards which determine the appropriate level of sport and recreation infrastructure provision at Regional, District and Sub District reserves and facilities.

Please provide feedback below before 3 May 2019.

In determining the level of funding to be offered to sporting clubs Council will consider the nature and extent to which facilities are readily available to the general community.
In determining the level of funding to be offered to sporting clubs Council will consider the the income generating capacity of user groups.
In determining the level of funding to be offered to sporting clubs Council will consider whether the facility is ultimately the property of Hume City Council.
Percentage contributions applied for projects funded in Council's Capital Works program are appropriate.
